1.1 These Terms govern the agreement between the customer (“Customer”) and Globasite (“Globasite”) regarding subscription-based digital services (“Service”), such as web hosting, domain registration, email, website building, design, and related services provided by Globasite.
1.2 The Customer may be a legal entity or an individual over the age of 18.
2.1 The Service entails renting resources from Globasite’s shared server environment, as well as other features included in the selected service package.
2.2 Support is included and provided via email, chat, or contact form on globasite.com during the contract period.
2.3 The Customer is solely responsible for the content hosted on their website and must ensure it is legal and appropriate. The service may not be used as a file storage solution.
2.4 Globasite reserves the right to review and limit or suspend services in the case of excessive or suspicious resource usage (e.g. traffic, CPU, or storage).
2.5 Services are personal and may not be used to host third-party websites without written approval from Globasite.
3.1 The agreement is valid for the period selected at the time of ordering, starting from the date of order confirmation.
3.2 The Customer has the right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase in accordance with distance selling regulations, provided the service has not been used.
3.3 Certain services may include a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, excluding domains, SSL certificates, or custom work.
3.4 Cancellations must be submitted in writing before the renewal due date to avoid automatic renewal.
3.5 Either party may terminate the agreement immediately in the case of a material breach that is not resolved within 14 days after written notice.
4.1 Fees are charged in advance based on the selected subscription period and payable via invoice, card, or Swish.
4.2 Renewal invoices are sent 30 days before expiration. Failure to pay may lead to suspension.
4.3 Late payment interest is charged according to Swedish interest laws. A reminder fee may apply.
4.4 Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in §3.
4.5 Domain and SSL fees are non-refundable.
4.6 Downgrades or deactivations do not entitle the Customer to refunds.
4.7 Globasite reserves the right to change prices with 30 days’ notice.
5.1 The Customer may only transfer the service to another party with prior written consent from Globasite.
5.2 Globasite may transfer the service to another provider with equivalent obligations.
6.1 Temporary downtime may occur for maintenance or security purposes.
6.2 Globasite is not responsible for Customer content.
6.3 In cases of negligence, Globasite’s liability is limited to the fee paid for the current subscription period and only applies to direct damages.
6.4 Globasite is not liable for indirect damage such as data loss or lost revenue.
7.1 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that their website content is legal and does not infringe on third-party rights.
7.2 The Customer may not use the service for spam, malware, illegal content, or unauthorized access.
7.3 Excessive use of resources may lead to suspension or additional charges.
7.4 The Customer must keep account details up to date and secure.
7.5 Customers are responsible for their own data backups in addition to any backups provided by Globasite.
8.1 The Customer agrees to receive service-related communications and promotional offers via email, phone, or SMS.
8.2 The Customer may unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time via link or by contacting support.
9.1 For .SE and .NU domains, the rules of The Swedish Internet Foundation (Internetstiftelsen) apply.
9.2 Domains are only registered after payment has been received.
9.3 The Customer is responsible for renewing domains on time.
9.4 Globasite does not guarantee a domain is secured until confirmation has been sent.
9.5 If a domain is not renewed on time, Globasite reserves the right to redirect or claim it.
10.1 In the case of major interruptions (>12 hours on a weekday), compensation may be granted as service time extension.
10.2 Planned maintenance does not count as an interruption.
10.3 Requests for compensation must be made within 7 days of the incident.
11.1 Globasite processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
11.2 Information is used to deliver services and communicate with the Customer.
11.3 No personal data is shared without consent unless required by law or domain registration bodies.
11.4 The Customer is responsible for providing accurate, current contact information.
12.1 Neither party is liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, or supplier issues.
13.1 Disputes should first be resolved through dialogue.
13.2 If unresolved, the dispute shall be settled by a Swedish court under Swedish law.
14.1 Globasite reserves the right to update these terms with 30 days’ notice.
14.2 Changes will be communicated via email or published on globasite.com.
14.3 The Customer may terminate their agreement before the updated terms take effect.
